Radio Drama Creator/Writer/Producer of the awesome We're Alive! Podcast joins us to talk about his show. We get a behind the scenes tour of how he produces his show. We talk screenwriting for the radio drama, he gives us insite as to how he schedules his team of sound designers, actors and editors.
The great thing about his story is he started out small just like all of us. He had a dream of telling a great story and built his audience by word of mouth. 20 listeners here...another 30 there. It took a while for him to reach the audience he has now. Millions of downloads to be exact. Hard work pays off. We're Alive is now part of the Nerdist Network and deservedly so.

Podcasters using Skype for their interviews will want to listen to this one. The hosts of Beyond The 140, a play on the amount of characters allowed on Twitter, run thier whole podcast off of Skype. They are both in 2 seperate states. They've never even met. Every week they invite someone who's "Twitter Famous" to come on their show and have a chat. We also talk a lot about scheduling a show. Keeping in constent contact with the guest leading up to the interview is key. Having a Pre-show call is also very benificial. It helps all 3 get close like freinds. This show's in the interview.
@IAmDelFreaky and @JCWisdomNuggets have got a lot of great nuggets (pun intended) to share with first time podcasters or any podcaster for that matter. If you're looking to do more interviews or want a good template to create for you to manage your show's upcoming interviews then you can learn a lot from these guys!

Siouxsie Q joins us from her popular Whorecast podcast. The podcast that's all about the sex industry. We talk about her struggles with Ira Glass and the original name of her podcast being This American Whore. Ira Glass is the host of a very popular radio show and podcast both titled "This American Life." She talks about lawyers and branding and being invited on CNN. She's a fan of SModcast and The Theater as well as geeky stuff like Star Trek.
Siouxsie Q was a pleasure to have on. She's very open with how she got started, marketing her show and give great advice to upcoming podcasters!

Ben stops work on his Higgs Boson and climbs out of his Black Hole to talk Science and Podcasting with us! If you're at all familiar with "The Big Bang Theory" both the TV show or the real deal...then you must check this episode out!
We chat about getting interviews with the big people and how that could disrupt the flow of your podcast...or not. Depends on thier interest. How important the regular release of a show is to your audience and how to go about building said audience.
The interesting thing about Titanium Physicists Podcast is that it's all done over SKYPE. Ben's co-hosts and guests are scattered across the globe so he talks a great deal in putting a show together via different kinds of editing software.
This is both a fun, funny podcast with a ton of information thrown at you. So get out your notepad and take notes because Ben is a great teacher and he loves giving tests!

Marc Hershon from Succotash Show joins us to talk all things podcasting! Marc hosts a comedy podcast about comedy podcasts so there is a lot of talk about scheduling, booking interviews and equipment (Starter mics, Professional mics) and the importance of editing! Listen to your show, it's not all good people! Cut the fat off. Cutting and trimming are good tools to learn in the podcasting game. Easy to learn too!

@PTPpodcast stops by the studio to talk a little podcasting this week! Before we even get started, seeing how they're a Canadian based trio, we had to ask them a few questions about the old TV show "You Can't Do That On Television."
We quickly learn that though they've heard of it, they are to young to have seen it.
Shannon, Justin and Justin all come from a background in radio/broadcasting! They're the real deal. They take us from thier days at a college radio station to their first days of podcasting. From great studio equipment to just a macbook with a built-in-microphone they plug away at their podcast dream like an indie band that could! ...and they do!
This group has tons of advice to give and a great sense of humor.
*NSFW*** This episode has a few crude jokes. Though I try to keep this show away from the dirty side of humor...sometimes it's just got to happen. If that offends you, just skip this episode and we'll be on our best behavior most of the time....
